In addition to SOAP services coordinated by the Office of University Communications, these other Stanford offices offer useful services in support of online accessibility:
Stanford Web Services (SWS) provides the Stanford community a full range of Drupal website planning, design, development, and maintenance support. The Stanford Sites hosting platform and Stanford-branded Drupal themes that are maintained by SWS are built and maintained with web accessibility in mind.
The Office of Accessible Education provides students a wide array of accommodations, support services, auxiliary aids and programs to remove barriers to full participation in the life of the University. The OAE offers a comprehensive program for students with disabilities at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The Diversity & Access Office oversees compliance with federal and state Civil Rights statutes, including the Americans with Disabilities Act and Sections 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and provides disability-related access information for faculty, staff, students, and visitors of the Stanford community.
